St Josephs College
Italian Trip: A number of Italian students from TY and 5th year travelled to Italy for a four day
trip on 24th April. We arrived in Pisa airport and drove to Florence for a two-night stay. We attended language class, went on a walking tour of the city, had free time for lunch and shopping in the markets of course and had great fun on the second night at a cooking school learning how to make our own pizza and gelato. We spent the third night in Verona where we went on a guided tour and got to see all of the sights, including the Amphitheatre and Romeo and Juliet’s houses. We spent most of Thursday in Gardaland theme park going on rides and before heading to the airport for our flight home. A really brilliant day for everyone. Thank you so much to Ms Borza for organising everything and also to Ms Duignan, Mr Sweeney and Mr Collins for accompanying us on such a great trip! (Holly O'Carroll)
