6th Year Exam: Well done to our 6th Year Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) students who completed their state exam on Wednesday.

6th Year Trip to Maynooth: On Thursday our 6th Year students went on a trip to Maynooth University, this trip would normally take place in Transition Year but due to Covid it had to be cancelled. The tour allowed students to become familiar with the extensive campus grounds, the location of the various buildings and lecture halls, as well as the sports grounds and student canteens. Students heard about college life from other University students. Importantly, they are now aware of the location of our closest University in relation to Lucan.

Rosie’s Garden: Great work taking place last week in Rosie's Garden as part of the students Gaisce Award activities! Delighted to see the arrival of our garden gate today. Between the birds, bees, new blossoms and sunshine, Rosie's Garden is the place to be! Well done to all involved the Garden is looking fantastic.

SCIFEST: On Friday 4 Students will travel to DCU to take part a SciFest fair. SciFest’s main object is: To promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education through the provision of a forum for students at local/regional/national level to present and display their scientific investigations.

The SciFest programme consists of a series of one-day STEM fairs for second-level students. SciFest was set up to encourage an interest in, and love of, the STEM subjects.
