Senior Hockey: Well done to our Senior Hockey team who won their semi-final on Monday against Malahide. In what was a close hard-fought game the girls came out victorious in a 2-1 win. Well done to all the players and management team and we wish them the best of luck in the final.

Senior Concern Debating: Best of luck to our Senior Concern Debating team who are competing against the High School, Rathgar in the last 8 of the Concern Debating competition on Tuesday next. This round of the competition is live and it will take place in Camden Street. We wish them all the best of luck.

Home Economic Practical’s: Best of luck to all our Junior Cycle students who begin their Home economic practical’s this week. They will continue over the next two weeks in the school. The students cook a number of dishes and are marked on not only the taste but also their presentation skills and cleanliness.

Voice of Poetry Competition: On Tuesday to mark world poetry day the English department held their annual first year poetry competition. This gave the first-year students the opportunity to create their own poem and read it aloud. Well done to everyone who took part.

Junior Camogie: Our Junior camogie team were in action on Tuesday again when they faced a very strong Colaiste Iosagain team. Unfortunately the result didn’t go their way on this occasion but they tried hard right until the end.

Junior Football: Well done to our Junior football team who reached the Dublin quarter final on Wednesday when they faced Castleknock. Unfortunately they lost out to a very strong Castleknock team.

Bronze and Silver Gaisce: On Thursday and Friday this week a group of over 100 students from 4th and 5thyear make their way to Glendalough to complete over 30 kilometres of hiking across the Wicklow mountains.

Incoming First Year Information Night: The school will hold a first-year information night for incoming first year parents on Tuesday the 28th of March.
