St Josephs College Newsletter 20th January

Sport: Well done to our senior soccer team who had a great victory on Friday in the last 16 of Leinster on a score line of 7-6 against Skerries Community College. Lauren Strong scored a hat-trick with Ruby Munnelly and Rachel Barrett also on the scoresheet. They now progress to the Leinster quarter final where they play against Presentation College Kilkenny and we wish them the best of luck in that match. Hard luck to our Senior Gaelic team who lost out against a very strong St Vincent’s team in the Leinster semi-final on Tuesday last and also to our Junior Camogie team who also lost out in their semi-final on Monday against St Marys Naas. We wish both schools the best in their respective finals. Our Junior Hockey team are in action in their first league match of the year on Friday and we wish them well with that.
