The student council organised various events for students during the lunchtimes during the week and interesting science facts and jokes were read out over the intercom to celebrate all things science.

Stand Up Awareness Week : Belong To’s Stand Up Awareness Week is a time for post-primary schools, youth services, and Youth reach in Ireland to join us and take a stand against homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying. This week in our school community we took the opportunity to take steps to make spaces safe and supportive for LGBTQ+ young people. Our wonderful student council had an array of posters and infographs spread across the school and on the digimedia, as well as announcements and emails sent out about a queer person/significant moment in queer history each day of the week.
On Friday 18th we will have a non uniform day, each year group will wear a colour of the rainbow flag as a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

3rd Year Parent Teacher Meeting : Our 3rd Year Parent Teacher Meeting will took place on Thursday the 17thof November. It was great to meet with Parents over zoom to discuss students progression.

Sport: Well done to our Senior Gaelic team and Senior Camogie team who both had impressive wins over the last week. The Camogie team now move into the semi-final stage of the competition with this victory.
