STUDENT ENTERPRISE PROGRAMME

The Student Enterprise Programme

The Student Enterprise Programme is Ireland’s biggest student enterprise competition. Each year over 23,000 secondary students from 480 schools take part in this Programme by setting up and running their own student business.

The Programme is open to all second level students from 1st year to 6th year and runs from September to May each year.

On Thursday our Transition Year Student Enterprise groups held their Christmas Fair, to raise funds and advertise their businesses.

Arthritis Aids: Niamh Doherty, Saliha Asad and Noyal Joice

Our company ‘Arthritis Aids’ was set up to make different products to help people with arthritis in their daily lives. On Thursday, we were taking preorders for our bottle cap openers that help people with arthritis in their wrists open various bottle caps such as 7up and River Rock bottles. They come in two different sizes, 32mm and 28mm and are available with a standard hard plastic handle or a non-slip rubber handle. They are available in white, green and purple. These are still available to order by e-mailing us at ‘aidsarthtitis@gmail.com’.
