November Exam Timetable and Guidelines


Please read through the exam timetable carefully and scroll to the bottom of the page to view important guidelines for the November Examinations.

Guidelines for students during the 2022 November Exams:

  • Students come in for their first exam of the day and wait in the room where the exam will take place.
  • Students may leave school after their last exam of the day.
  • Students with exams at 8:45 and 1:45, but no exam at 11:00 should email Mr O’Driscoll, dodriscoll@stjosephslucan.com
  • Phones must be turned off, and placed face down on the corner of your exam desk, prior to the start of the exam.
  • Students will need to bring their own writing paper, colouring pencils, calculator and maths set, as they will not be provided.
  • The sharing of equipment is not permitted during exams.
  • Log Tables will be provided where required for subjects such as Maths, Physics etc.
  • Students may not communicate with other students during the exam in any way.
  • Students may not leave the exam centre before the exam is finished.
  • Students must wear their full school uniform for all exams.
  • Students must not use a full A4 pad during the exam, but instead should take some blank pages out at the start of the exam to write on.
  • If you need more writing paper, you can put up your hand and ask the supervising teacher if you can take some from your bag.
  • The supervising teacher will check to ensure that any writing paper used in the exam is blank before the start time.
  • At the end of the exam, students should remain seated until the supervising teacher has collected all exam scripts.
  • Mr O'Driscoll will email the specific exam locations to all students prior to the start of the exams.
  • Ms O'Melia will email special centre locations, prior to the start of the exams.
