Athletics: Well done to our First Year Team who won the Team Event at the Cross-Country Athletics event in the Phoenix Park last week. They did excellently to win this competition out of all the schools in west Leinster and they now move on to the Leinster competition later in the year. Well done also to all our Students who took part in the all of the other races.


Junior Debating : Well done to our Junior debating team who competed in three rounds of debating in UCD on Saturday last. This was their first debating competition and Ms. Hanlon was very proud of their performance.


Good Luck: We wish all of our 3rd and 6th year students the best of luck in their mock exams over the next two weeks. We also wish our Transition Year students well as they embark on two weeks of work experience.

First Year Assessment: Well done to all our incoming first years who completed their assessment on Saturday past. We thank the 5th year students who came in to welcome our incoming first years and give them a tour of the school. It was also great to meet with the Parents of incoming first years on Saturday.

Ceiliúradh CEIST: On Wednesday it was Ceiliúradh CEIST day on the 1st of February 2023. We are a very proud to be a CEIST school and we look forward to celebrating Ceiliúradh CEIST with a number of activities after the midterm break when we can come together as a full school community.

Hockey: Our first-year hockey team are in action this week against Mount Temple, we wish them well in this fixture.

Senior Camogie: Our Senior Camogie team are back in action this Saturday when they make the long journey north to Ballymena to play in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. We wish the team and the management the best of luck in this game.
