Well done also to our Lucan Sarsfield’s and St Pats Camogie players who won their various championships over the midterm break.

ICA : We were delighted to have the Ladies from Lucan ICA join our TY students once again for their Crocheting Workshop! This is our 12th Year of ICA-TY Crocheting and all enjoyed learning the craft of crocheting, sharing stories & making new friends! The students have been set the task now of crocheting a baby blanket in 10 weeks! Thank you to all the ICA for coming in for a very enjoyable afternoon!

Senior Debating: Well done to our Senior debating team who got the result of their recent debate and they won. Mr. Smyth spoke glowingly of the group and how well they had performed on the night and thankfully the result went their way also. We wish them the best of luck in the next round which takes place next week.

Joey’s Outdoor Classroom Arrives: We are delighted to finally see our Outdoor Classroom ready for use after all the planning & fundraising! In March of 2022, we held our Fundraising walk with the Parents’ Association to raise much-needed funds for our outdoor area of Rosie’s Garden & Joey’s Outdoor Area. We are looking forward to having our outdoor space used now to facilitate learning, group-work, student wellbeing activities & recreational time, all set in the fresh air and located next to Rosie’s Garden. A huge thank you to all our school community for supporting our fundraising initiatives and to Outdoor Spaces for working with us to install it! Hopefully the sun will continue to shine!
